Day 17 – Finding God in Unexpected Places

Becoming a Saint:
Is your gaze set on heaven?

Work of Art: Reliquary with Relic from an Unknown Saint (1300s)

One of the most intriguing things about saints is that their stories are often extremely unexpected.

It’s a striking reminder that saints are humans, just like you and me. And we are all called to be saints – to spend eternity with Christ.

When was the last time I thought deeply about desiring holiness for my life and becoming a Saint?

In today’s Advent reflection, Fr. John Bartunek, LC shares the deeper meaning behind venerating bodily relics of our friends in heaven, the saints. As we watch today’s video, let’s look forward with hope to the day we will be with God forever in our glorified bodies in heaven.
