Day 19 – Advent with the Saints

Authentic Feminism:
What If I Feel As If No One Recognizes All My Efforts?

We are drawing closer to the joy of the first Christmas night. During Advent, we contemplate how God chose to come into a broken world through the open heart and generous “yes” of a young woman. Much of her life hidden and ordinary.

Christ came to find us, heal our wounds, and restore our dignity through the gift of his coming into the world. He reaches out to each and every one of us but in a special way. He does so through the examples of authentic Christian Motherhood and feminism.

Listen to today’s “Advent with the Saints” audio reflection on how St. Begga lived with faithfulness to attend to the duties of her state in life knowing they are God’s will and would be an extraordinary source of grace for the lives of others.

 Today’s Saint – St. Begga

Our Saint of the Day is St. Begga.  Listen to Uncle Eddy as he invites us to use this saint’s example to inspire us to live our best life in Christ!
