Day 27 – Advent with the Saints

Keeping Our Eyes on Jesus:
What If I Feel Sad on Christmas?

As our Advent journey with the Saints comes to a close, we hope you have discovered that you are never alone! We invite you to prayerfully contemplate the gaze of the infant Jesus who comes into the world to know how loved we are by God.

Not only did the shepherds gaze in awe and wonder of their Lord coming to them as an infant, but Jesus and Mary gazed back at them, drawing them closer to their Lord and Savior.

Do we gaze at our Lord with the same awe and adoration as the shepherds?

He came for us. And he is so eager to encounter us – especially in the most unexpected places – even in sadness. Today, let’s open our eyes to adore our Lord and let him draw us into his Sacred Heart.

Merry Christmas!

Today’s Saints – the Martyrs of Nicomedia

Our Saints of the Day are the Martyrs of Nicomedia.  Listen to Uncle Eddy as he invites us to use this saint’s example to inspire us to live our best life in Christ!
