How Does God Deal With Epochal Changes In Human History?

Today, let’s take some time to reflect on the mystery of Christmas; specifically, the mystery of God becoming small and weak as an infant. He changed the world through the most unlikely circumstances. God permits all things for our good. We need to see how in moments of historical change we can be open to growing in trust of Him as the Lord of history. 

Despite his divine power, he chose to entrust himself to Mary and Joseph. And he continues to entrust his Church to all of us today. 

Are we living the gifts God has entrusted to us?

Let’s return his loving trust by renewing our confidence in the unique mission and gifts he has entrusted to us to help build his kingdom here on earth.  Listen to today’s “Advent with the Saints” reflection on St. Ambrose.
