Holy Saturday
The sealed tomb. The infidelity of the Apostles. Christ’s defeat seemed absolute. At times, God seems to be nowhere visible in our lives. Yet he is more active and present than ever.
Holy Saturday teaches us the value of faith in God and his promises, even when we don’t understand. It teaches us to hope when we have no human reason to do so. It teaches us to love, which reaches beyond the grave.
This Holy Saturday, unite yourself in prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary who, without understanding everything, nonetheless lived in faith, hope and love for her Son.
