Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit: A Retreat Guide on the First Beatitude
Not sure how to use this retreat guide?
The Beatitudes offer a portrait of Christian life. And the first characteristic of that portrait is this: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). What does being “poor in spirit” really mean? What does it mean for you and me in today’s world? It’s worth digging into those questions because we all ardently desire to inherit the kingdom of heaven, to enter into the fullness of life that comes from living in perfect communion with God. And digging into those questions is exactly what this Retreat Guide will do.

Amazing Retreat, Reflection and Renewal of Commitment to My God, My Faith and My Love for Him, thru the Beatitudes. Thank you, Father.
This a very reflexive retreated ! I will listen to that again. It is so helpful for my spiritual growth! 🙂
This was simply, the most clear and helpful reading-retreat I have done in years. Thank you so much. It was the spiritual direction I needed to hear right now. It answered many questions I have had: especially about humility and pride. I pray that I may apply what I learned here. Thank you so much again.
