Are you seeking to deepen your knowledge and experience of Scripture through the eyes and experiences of the women in the Bible? Do you want to grow in your prayer life, know Christ more personally, and live more fully your vocation as a woman in this present world?
Women of the Bible Series, Part II continues in a similar fashion to Part I by exploring eight prominent women of the New Testament whose lives were transformed by their personal encounters with Christ. Looking once again through the lens of the “feminine genius”, the Bible study highlights how each woman draws upon feminine qualities of receptivity, generosity, sensitivity, and motherhood as she interacts with Jesus. As you get to know each woman’s story, you will discover the feminine genius alive and at work in them through their greatness as well as their imperfections, guiding their love for God and for others. The study offers the challenge to find a way to relate to each one of these 8 Women of the New Testament and apply what you have learned to your personal life. The course is designed to encourage growth in your prayer life and a deepening of your relationship with and love for Jesus Christ. May this Bible Study open your heart to receive all the Lord has in store for you, the Beloved Daughter, He longs to encounter.

About the Speaker and Presenter:
Monica Treviño is a lay woman who has consecrated her life to God through the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience since 1993. She has a Masters degree in Theological Studies from Notre Dame Graduate School of Christendom College and is a certified Spiritual Director through the Oblates of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is an author, speaker, retreat leader, and spiritual director. With 21 years of experience in the United States, she currently serves in the Diocese of Galveston-Houston, forming Christian leaders by accompanying women as a spiritual director, preaching retreats, and giving formation courses.
