Day 10 – Finding God in Unexpected Places

Light in the Darkness:
How can we exercise our hope in the darkness?

Work of Art: Cotopaxi (Frederic Church, 1892)

Advent comes in the darkest time of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere). And during this time we decorate our homes – inside and out – with colorful, bright, and even flashing lights.

In the same way, Christ came into our world to be a light in the darkness. And there is no darkness too dark for him.

Are you or someone you love experiencing darkness? What can you do to renew your hope and faith in God?

This Advent, let’s trust in God who comes to us in unexpected places, to make his everlasting light shine in even the darkest places. Watch today’s Advent video to discover more.
